The leadership team at Long Island Treatment Center consists of a wide range of leading addiction treatment professionals that come from many walks of life. Several of us are in recovery ourselves, and are now giving back by helping others struggling with addiction.

Amanda Timonere

LMHC, NCC, CCMHC, MCAP

Chief Clinical Officer

Amanda Timonere has served in the Mental Health Field since 2010 and holds a Dual Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy from Barry University.

Joel Wishnia

Chief Operating Officer

Joel Wishnia has worked in the treatment field since 2016. Joel grew up in South Florida and returned in 2016, after his own personal struggles with alcoholism and addiction. He is dedicated to helping others find a new way of life.

Dr. Tildabeth Doscher

MD, MPH

Medical Director

Dr. Doscher is double-boarded in Preventive Medicine and Addiction Medicine. She completed both her Medical Doctorate and her Masters in Public Health at UCLA.

Susan Stallone

LCSW, CASAC

Director of Substance Abuse Counseling

Susan is a licensed clinical social worker with a certification in addiction. She has over two decades of experience in numerous different treatment modalities including, residential, outpatient, methadone, and mental health. She has spent a significant portion of her life helping individuals and their families deal with the effects of substance use disorder and move into recovery. 

Lorena Donayre

CASAC-T

Director of Operations

Lorena earned her Master's in Substance Abuse Counseling from Grand Canyon University. With a hands-on approach, she warmly welcomes every client - offering a safe space for them to embark on their new life journey.

Alex Costa

Chief Marketing Officer

Alex Costa, a Massachusetts native, is a person in long-term recovery from Addiction and Alcoholism. His passion and purpose for helping others always remain at the forefront as our Chief Marketing Officer.

Liam McElwee

Chief Revenue Officer

Liam has extensive knowledge within the treatment field and in working with people. Liam has been in the recovery field since 2020 and is a great asset to our team at Long Island Treatment Center.

Jamie Lastihenos

MS, LCAT

Primary Therapist

Jamie received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from SUNY Oneonta, and later obtained her Masters of Science in Creative Arts and Expressive Therapies from Sarah Lawrence College.

Samuel Lee

LMHC

Primary Therapist

Sam received his Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Hunter College. He has been working as a substance abuse therapist for 5 years and is passionate about seeing people reshape their lives for greater purposes.

Julie Weissman

CASAC-P, MHC-LP

Primary Therapist

Julie received her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, with a concentration in substance use, from Hofstra University. With a holistic and person-centered approach, she strives to support individuals in maintaining a strong foundation in their recovery.

Morgan Essig

CASAC-T

Case Manager

Morgan has worked in the field of substance abuse treatment since 2017 with the goal of providing a safe place for others to heal. Her goal is to assist those entering treatment in making a strong healthy foundation for their continued recovery.

David Goloski

National Director of Alumni & Family Services

David joined the team here at RBHN to bring aboard his expertise of engagement and structure within alumni programming. RBHN is passionate about the alumni services they provide to their clients and share many of the same visions and goals that David does.

Christina Scherer

Family Services Advocate

Christina began her professional career in behavioral health in 2019, dedicating herself to working directly with individuals struggling with substance use disorders. She now uses her personal and professional experiences to guide families through their loved one’s recovery process.
